Throughout the four-decade history of LPL Financial—through up and down markets, strong and weak economies—we have consistently remained focused on enabling our advisors to offer independent, objective advice to their clients. Our commitment to doing the right thing is a key reason LPL Financial has remained a trusted and respected name within the financial services industry and among Main Street investors.
Over the past two years, the recession has burdened individuals and families, small businesses and large companies, and we’ve all learned (or re-learned) some valuable lessons during this time. We’ve remembered that we Americans are a resilient people who endure and bounce back from challenges. And we’ve been reminded that the fundamentals our parents taught us still matter: spend less than you earn, save for a rainy day, don’t put all your eggs in one basket, and remain confident of rebounding after a setback.
LPL Financial has always been guided by fundamentals such as these, and we remain convinced that Americans will more than survive—we will thrive as we move on from this challenging time and look to the possibilities the future can bring. It is our privilege to support financial advisors and enable them to be involved partners in their clients’ financial journey.
The 2,700 employees of LPL Financial come to work every day committed to helping our customers: independent financial advisors, community and regional banks, and credit unions, as well as financial professionals at insurance companies that clear through our firm. Our customers are more than just financial professionals; they are also friends, neighbors, civic leaders, and volunteers in the cities and towns where they live and work. Because of this connection, they have an uncommon understanding of their clients’ needs and goals. For LPL Financial advisors, sharing in the hopes and aspirations of their clients is a fundamental that never changes.
At LPL Financial, we will also never change our belief in acting with integrity, choosing always to do what’s right over what’s easy, and helping our customers and their clients through both good and challenging times. We will always place our advisors’ and their clients’ needs first, because it is in focusing on and supporting their success that we all succeed together.
Sincerely,
Mark Casady
