This mission is achieved through an integrated program of corporate giving and employee volunteerism that creates meaningful and high-impact partnerships between LPL Financial and nonprofit organizations nationwide. Following is an overview of the major LPL Financial community partnerships in each of our three focus areas.

Strong and Nurturing Communities
LPL Financial supports organizations that help strengthen communities by promoting safe and comfortable housing and thriving neighborhoods. Through financial and volunteer contributions to Rebuilding Together and Habitat for Humanity’s Critical Home Repair program, LPL Financial helps older Americans to protect their most valuable asset, their homes, from disrepair that can threaten not only their financial security but also their physical well being.

LPL Financial is also a committed partner to United Way, supporting local United Way organizations in the communities where our employees live and work through corporate gifts and an annual employee giving program.

Enrichment and Education for Children
The single most profound investment any individual or company can make in the future of our society is an investment in our children. That is why LPL Financial is proud to support organizations that enhance the lives of children in myriad ways. Through our partnership with Junior Achievement, LPL Financial sponsors financial literacy and business education curriculums for children in our home office cities. These programs are brought to life by LPL Financial employees who bring real-world business experience into local classrooms.

Education is a critical component of a child’s success, but it is not the only component. LPL Financial partners closely with Big Brothers Big Sisters to provide the emotional support and friendship many children need to stay on track with their education and in life. Through annual sponsorships of Big Brothers Big Sisters fundraising dinners; our yearly Kid’s Day outing at professional ball parks in Boston and San Diego; and a growing number of employees serving as “Bigs,” LPL Financial and our employees are helping to ensure children have the positive role models and encouragement that are essential to their success.

Comfort and Security for the Elderly
As a firm, LPL Financial is committed to helping our customers prepare their clients for retirement. As a community partner, we recognize that many Americans will need support from their communities to age comfortably and securely. To do our part, LPL Financial is partnering with Meals on Wheels to help address one of the fundamental challenges facing the elderly in America: hunger. Through financial donations and employee volunteers, we provide a hot meal and a friendly face to elderly Americans in need of nourishment and companionship.

Invest in Others Charitable Foundation, Inc.

In addition to promoting employee giving and volunteerism through our corporate community relations program, LPL Financial also has a history of advancing philanthropy amongst our financial advisors through the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation.

Established in 2006 by LPL Financial, the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) charity founded with the mission of encouraging and supporting the philanthropic and volunteer activities of financial advisors in their local communities.

This mission is achieved through a community-based approach to philanthropy that seeks to strengthen neighborhoods from within by empowering those who are committed to serving others in their professional and personal lives.
