Robert Moore joined LPL Financial in 2008 as managing director and chief financial officer. He is responsible for formulating financial policy and planning as well as ensuring the effectiveness of the financial functions within the firm.

Prior to LPL Financial, Mr. Moore served as chief executive officer and chief financial officer at ABN AMRO North America and LaSalle Bank Corporation, where he drove the North America business unit to its best financial performance in history. He also set a new direction for LaSalle Bank, focusing on optimal revenue-generating activities, enhanced quality of earnings, reduced expenses, and decreased capital consumption.

Before this role, Mr. Moore worked for Diageo PLC, Europe and Great Britain, in a number of finance management positions, ultimately serving as chief financial officer. Other positions include group senior vice president for ABN AMRO Holding; senior executive vice president for Duff and Phelps Investment Management; and a range of portfolio, treasury, and trust management positions for Harris Investment Management, Ford Motor Company, and Northern Trust.

Mr. Moore has a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Texas and a Master of Management in finance, marketing, and international business from Northwestern University. He attended the Harvard Business School Executive Management Program and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
